By 2030, the combined drone market is projected to reach US$54.6 billion, driven by a steady Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 7.1%. Notably, the commercial drone sector is poised for even more rapid growth, with projections indicating a robust 7.7% CAGR. In contrast, the recreational counterpart is expected to exhibit a modest -0.3% CAGR.

In the Dutch city of Dordrecht, a multi-day trial commenced last month to transport medical goods using drones. A large-sized drone equipped with a payload box was regularly flying between the Albert Schweitzer hospital and the central hospital warehouse in Dordrecht.
